Falmouth RNLI Ladies' Guild will be holding its summer fete on the front garden of the Falmouth Hotel on August 24 and for the first time will be sharing the event with St Keverne Band.

Fire fighters had to cut free a man who was trapped in a vehicle at Goonhilly Earth Station on the Lizard peninsula on Sunday.

The main road to St Keverne remains closed this lunchtime following a serious traffic collision.
Road closures and diversions are in place. Police are advising motorists to find an alternative route for the time being.
