Lights to go out across the UK in August to mark the outbreak of the First World War
Blackpool Illuminations, the Houses of Parliament, Eden Project and Tower Bridge will turn off their lights to mark the 10Oth anniversary of WW1 People can take part in whatever way they chose, marking the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War either individually or by attending one of the events being organised around the country.
