It was the age old problem of money that was delaying the rebuilding of Helston Community College, the councillor overseeing Cornwall's education explained last week.

Helston's Christmas lights will be switched on this Friday in a blaze of glory.
The lights are considered to be among some of the best in Cornwall and from 5pm the build up to the big switch-on will begin, with the main event taking place at 7.30pm.
