Motorist had no chance of stopping in fatal crash

By Ruth Offord A WIDOW died after stepping into the path of a car travelling along a "death-trap" road she had campaigned to be improved, an inquest heard Kathleen Vera Clark, was hit by a car after failing to look up and walking out into Barnsley Road in Marr, Doncaster Coroner's Court was told.
