Basingstoke gets new evening bus

Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council , in partnership with bus provider Stagecoach , is launching a pilot evening bus service which will run until 11.30pm on Fridays and Saturdays for the next nine months.

HUNDREDS of people turned out to enjoy a day of crafts and musical talent in Sherfield-on-Loddon.

People of all ages attended the Crafts and Music event at Sherfield School. The event, organised by the Friends of the Basingstoke Area Youth Orchestra and Choirs , included a craft fair which provided a spot of retail therapy for visitors to the event.
