From what has come clear after the last flooding, the local police were less than quick to re-direct traffic. This then caused most of the flood water to be pushed by the traffic out to the sides causing a boar effect which has now ruined many local shops and businesses especially where The Ceramics Experience etc. are placed. The flow of traffic has to be considered yes, but poor management of traffic and slow response has now proven to have such a detrimental effect on local trade this cannot be overlooked.
