Kirkcaldy pub closures not a good image

no wonder the pubs are shut the rent charged by gready consortiums and the price they force pubs to charge £2.40 a pint, you can buy 6 x tins at £4 gives you 5 pints of beer

yes, a good idea is to shut down ALL pubs in Scotland. Then we in the rest of Britain wouldn't have to send the Jocks £2000 each every year for their hooligan soup, boot polisy , meths and deepfried porridge.

It may be very sterotypical of me but I'm guessing people who go to those pubs in T-Hall where I was brought up, don't spend much time on sites like this!

I personally know plenty people who use those pubs because I grew up in T-Hall. I've always avoided them. I'm a uni graduate, X-soldier and I look for a good easy life which I wouldnt get spending time no those dam pubs. First time I had a drink in the Buc I was offered involvment in a jewellery scam. CID was crawling thos pubs just before they closed also so its not the economy at fault its the customers and owners. It's the old fashioned and backwards approach to running them. I have no doubt a decent business person could turn them into a profitable business even with the same overheads...in another area, maybe closer to the North of the town and the retail park for example.

Fact is I never met someone in those T-Hall pubs who was not claiming benifits they shouldnt or on Job Seekers Allowance while working on the side. I used to walk past those pubs in my Uniform or on the way home from University and it disgusted me because when I did have to signon after finishing Uni I seen the same faces in the Job Centre.

I can't afford to get the bus around Town on benifits how the hell do these people afford to drink everyday?

Close the lot of them I say!
