Hi Dave: My husband remembers a show Andy Griffith starred in after he finished "The Andy Griffith Show." He says Andy ran a salvage company that went into space to retrieve old satellites and other scrap from space.

The show was called "Salvage 1" and lasted just one season (1979).

However, he worked on the following television shows in between the Andy Griffith Show and Salvage 1;
- Mayberry R.F.D.(5 episodes, 1968-1969)
- Headmaster (13 episodes, 1970)
- The New Andy Griffith Show (10 episodes, 1971)
- Centennial (10 episodes, 1978-1979)
