Although I like cranky British Chef Gordon Ramsay, I'm not really a huge fan of his Fox show Kitchen Nightmares .

It is true that Kitchen Nightmares is not as exciting and funny as Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen, BUT the show Kitchen Nightmares is truly about helping peoples lives. They save struggling restaurants from closing, re-establish hope and dreams, and Ramsay really does care about saving the restaurant which is awesome. He doesn't care about the fame, all he cares about is the restaurant and helping the people that work in it. That is why Kitchen Nightmares is such a good show.

The original Kitchen Nightmares, which hit restaurants all over Europe, is hands down one of my top 10 favorite shows. Much more focus on helping people and informing. The American version bastardizes the show; it's 80% flash, where the UK version isn't. You can find the original show on BBC America, it's aired about twice every day. Occasionally they throw in the American version, but not very often.

Daily Horoscope for December 21

Aquarius

Although you're still feeling sociable and outgoing, the Solstice brings the need for a little time to yourself now and then. It's time to temper your busy social life with some precious moments of solitude. Make sure you do, as this need is something important and life-enhancing. It will certainly recharge your inner batteries, which might be a little run down.
