i think if he leaves as Gill Grissom that there really won't be any show. I liked this show because all the original cast were on for longer than 4 seasons as with other shows they get replaced. it looks like this may be CSI's last season then :( first sara and now gill. very sad he is witty on the show and keeps everything together. i hope he comes back at least 3 episodes a month.

Sara is coming back I hear! Warrick was killed off in the last episode, or at least he appeared to be. Now Grissom is leaving???? Hopefully it is just a salary ploy and he will work things out.

man i cant believe " gill" is leaving he made the show more interesting with the crew! i heard that " warrick" is leaving. first it was " sarah" now its "grissom" n maybe " warrick" since he got shot in th episode. i doubt that there is even going to be anymore CSI.! i hear that there is going to be replacements i dont think i'm going to watch it anymore! I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH I DONT WANT IT TO END!

petterson is leaving CSI show.
He been a great contribution to
this show as well as the other
lady who left last yr so call on the show his girlfriend she also
did an excellent work.
I wish you William Peterson much success good health,in whatever you
deside to do acting in other shows
as guest or just slip into retirement certainly you will be
missed by the cast/crew/your tv fans, best wishes.

William Peterson(a.k.a. Gil Grissom) will be greatly missed. He made the show with his wit and wisdom, especially his knowledge and expertise.
His reference to ancient knowlegde made the rest of the cast stand up and take notice and made them wiser and more productive in doing their job.
Hopefully, the person who replaces him will be able to fill his shoes.
