Selena Gomez named UNICEF spokeswoman

U.S. teen actress-singer Selena Gomez has been named spokeswoman for the 2008 "Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF" campaign, the world organization announced.

Does this Selena Gomez have the clout that Danny Kaye did? Is she aware enough to stop mismanagement within UNICEF? Would any adult listen to her if she found out about mismanagement? I DOUBT IT! You should have an adult, not a child, speaking for UNICEF. Children as spokespersons for children is like the blind leading the blind!
