It's crunch day for the Tulsa Area United Way. The agency is holding an all-day phone-a-thon to reach their goal of nearly $24 million.

90% of every dollar raised by the United Way goes to provide direct services. Only 10% goes to administrative costs, which are the salaries, benefits, and administrative overhead of the United Way staff and opperations. They are helping a lot of people and we should all be grateful to them for what they are doing. You never know when you will need help yourself. You could lose your job, have a medical crisis in your family, suffer the death of a loved one, or God forbid, suffer a mental break. Judge not lest ye be judged.
