I can't believe you included the reference to Rain Man ! I was laughing when I read the title of the story because all I could think was about Dustin Hoffman's legendary performance and his citing Qantas as the only airline never to crash. I enjoyed watching the clip again. Good work !

Outsourcing shouldn't be equated with compromised safety. Work is work, right? No matter what country it happens in.

Work is work but standards vary from nation to nation - this is in no way suggesting that the US has a monopoly on quality labor, anything but, however, there are certainly a few locations where quality takes a back seat to cost effectivness -- why else export the work there?
