Older thais do tend to be nice people however any of the younger generations appear to be racist scumbags out to exploit or cheat westerners of everything they possibly can. The friendly and open attitude of older thais seems to show that in the past few years thailand has gone downhill massively. They used to be a great people but now the thai name is associated with corruption, cheating and exploitation.
