I had not even heard about same sex marriage becoming a possibility in Nepal. It seems like just a short time ago, it was an anti-gay country. Just shows how some people can change when given a reasonable government. As for Thailand, I hope they will follow suit and legalize gay marriage. Things seem to be moving much faster in many parts of the world than in the United States.

I've been to Thailand alot, but never had the guts to do a ladyboy and on Soi 4 Sukhimvet, they often look better than the girls.....always thought i would get drugged or robbed or worse....

I saw an interesting documentary about one who was partnered with an American man. The latter considered himself heterosexual and had been in relations with women in the past. But he truly loved his partner and wished her to remain intersex - to keep her penis.

I completely agree, but your post would have a little more readibility if you avoid all caps, don't say "fag" and try not to write like one of the "Trailer Park Boys."

For those unaware, RealityCheck is referring to the new UN standards of quality of life. Canada ranked fourth; the US thirteenth. Norway was at the top.

While some US economic activity creates jobs here in Canada, he is right in that other US policies (such as protectionism in the lumber industry, even with Nafta) take away Canadian jobs. Not to mention Canadians employed in the US auto industry which screwed itself up mostly at the top.

Life is getting easier for gays in Thailand because Privy Council Prem Tinsulanonda is a gay. His top militarymen are mainly gays & play golf daily instead of working.

Only the low class soldiers will be killed at borders & the South Thailand. Most of them are from poor Thai families.

Hi class like Abhisit VietjajiViet didn't show up in his check point when his time came. Thai law forces every man to serve in the army to protect the nation & protect the King unless they have exception allowances.

But Abhisit didn't fall into any category to skip that army check. He simply didn't show up at the required time and used fake paper to apply when teaching in cops school.

If talking about loving Thailand & loving the King, Abhisit VietjajiViet is not qualified.
