Former Olympian and coach has mixed feelings about advanced training
As a former Olympic athlete, Manchester's Joanne Dow has trained plenty. An eight-time national race-walking champion who competed in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the 45-year-old city native can attest to the benefits of athletic training methods that incorporate science and technology.
