As we continue to gear up for the World Championship Trials on May 15-20, our next highlighted diver is senior Ariel Rittenhouse .

Thirteen members of the Florida State men's and women's swimming and diving team were named to the ACC All-Academic Team announced by the league office on Monday.

Ariel Rittenhouse made history last Thursday, winning the 3-meter springboard title with a program-record dive at the Atlantic Coast Conference Championships in Greensboro, N.C. The Florida State University junior scored 369.55 to eclipse the old Seminoles' mark of 365.65 set two years ago by Lisi Rowland.

GREENSBORO , N.C. Sophomore Kaylea Arnett and senior Logan Shinholser of the Virginia Tech swimming and diving program highlighted day two of the 2013 ACC Women's Swimming and Diving Championships, as both divers won silver medals Thursday evening at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.

There will be far more important meets later this season, but none will have the magic that made Thursday night so special for the Florida State swimming and diving programs.
