University of Texas students raise $65,000 to fight childhood cancer
University of Texas fraternity and sorority chapters Sigma Chi and Alpha Epsilon Phi donated $65,316 on Wednesday to the Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation, which funds childhood cancer research and gives money to families of children with cancer to help with household bills.
"This is exciting," said Joe Lanier, owner of Loco's Grill and Pub minutes before Cole's performance.

The eight students who received 10 citations after returning to Neyland Stadium in the early hours Thursday morning were all Sigma Chi fraternity members, UT Police documents show.
