Driving Laws to Change for Teens in West Virginia

The rules of the road are changing in West Virginia. Senate Bill 398 is amending the laws for new drivers looking to get behind the wheel and behind it all is a desire to save young lives.

The driving laws has stiffened and seem to be working. You dont hear of half as many fatalities among teens in a long time

I believe however if a person is old enough to take a rifle and serve this country then the drivers license and liquor laws for that individual should be changed to reflect what this person has fought for - FREEDOM.

if you are over the age of 55 you should not be able to drive without the assistance of someone in the car under 25. Just for safety issues

Umm excuse me but my father is a surgeon and he is 56. If he can pick up a knife and save lives, then he can drive a car. I do think that you have a point though.. maybe people over the age of 60 should have to retake their test every five years or so and have their eyes examined and if they do not pass then they should not drive.... just my opinion

yeah i agree too many times somebody has pulled out without looking or tried to switch lanes when i was right beside of them and it ended up being an elderly person

I don't fear the elderly as much as the younger ones with the cell phone to their ear and the music blasting.They are the loaded guns..
