Proposed transportation tax increases

So we went for the Transportation committee which was unconstitutional to the GOV imposing the same fee's. WOW, Iam so glad we are in a free country.

Tim KAINE IS TO EXPENSIVE FOR THE CITZENS OF THE STATE WHO ARE ALREADY PAYING TO MUCH IN TAXES THERE IS NO WAY A SINGLE FAMILY INCOME CAN MAKE A LIVING IN THE STATE OF VIRGINIA MAY THE STATE SHOULD CONSIDER CUTTING SOME OF THESE BIG SALAIRES FOR SCHOOL SUPERINTENTS WHO MAKE 3 TIMES AS MUCH A THE TEACHERS THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO SUPPORT, THE STATE NEEDS TO FIND MONEY SOME OTHER WAY. MY SALIARY DOES NOT INCREASE WITH TAXES AND INFLATION, MAYBE THE STATE SHOULD TRY AND LIVE WITHIN A BUDGET JUST LIKE THE PEOPLE THAT THEY WANT TO GET MORE TAXES FROM.

Years ago the voters of virginia got to vote on whether to have a state lottery. The lottery was to help pay for schools and roads. Somewhere along the line, we the voters never got the say so in sharing the lottery with other states. Where exactly did the money go that was supposed to help pay for schools and roads from the lottery we voted on having?? It was nice to the people of Virginia to help pay for those wonderful HOV lanes that are hardly ever used for carpooling. There have been stories on how to give incentives for people to use the HOV lanes. With gas prices going sky high more and more people are finding it harder to provide for their family. So now the Kaine wants to make the cost of living even more unberable. Maybe some politians should take a cut in pay. Or better yet.. maybe they should use the money they sucked us in on via the lottery to help with schools and roads as orginally promised..OOPS my bad... the politicians never ever do ANYTHING they promised!!

Tax, Tax, Tax. How about we get some leaders that can operate a budget? If I need money I ..... either go with out something or save up.....not tax a bunch of folks. Besides drive in NYC or LA or Boston the list goes on they have traffic what we have are lousy inconsiderate, poor drivers. Too busy on the cell phone or in a hurry for no reason, just plain lousy drivers. All the hacks in the state and local goverments have done is make traffic and roads a smoke screen to cover the rest of their of their poor decisions.
Just my opinion.

I say `NO MORE TAXES, NO MORE FEES, CUT YOUR SALARIES, LET US BE !!!! Use all that lottery money, where is all that??? If the Governor wants to raise all these taxes and fees he should have to take a pay reduction equivalent to the same percentage as he wants to raise. This is so typical of Democrats, their cry is `RAISE TAXES, RAISE TAXES AND RAISE TAXES.

to find out who your delegate and senator are. Send them a message telling them to vote no. Maybe if enough concerned voters do this they may actually listen.

There would not be a need for a tax increase if these politicians would learn to be more fiscally responsible! If they were this irresponsible with their personnal checkbooks they would be in bankruptcy court! Apparrently taxing the citizens is the easy way out to all their financial woes rather than trying a little creative thinking or budget trimming...I bet this won't stop you from giving your sorry selves a raise!!

The Republicans cut taxes when in office to appear as great politicians. The Democrats are left to clean up their messes and are forced to raise taxes to rectify things. so I am not mad at Kaine

These transportation taxes are outrageous!

But someone should keep our roads safe. We need more lanes on the interstates to minimize backups. I want the to clear ice and snow off the roads and streets immediately so I don't have an accident. The government should provide parking downtown and I should be able to park nearby to where I work, worship, shop, and live. And why don't they remove that dead carcass off the side of the road that has been there since Sunday? And stop charging me for tolls too.

When are the pennies from heaven going to start raining down so we don't have to pay these rediculous tazes? My vehicle is a God-given right, right?
