Obama Urges People To Serve Their Communities

I'll volunteer to help devise ways to secure the border. I'll even do it for free on my own time as long as someone promises to fund my operation of making gadgets.

God forbid a Ripofflican ever lift a finger to help his country. Even when one does they don't show up for duty ala W. or they fake a pow and hang out at the Hanoi Hilton with the hookers.

I volunteer to serve my community by doing everything in my power to see we are never saddled with another administration like Obama's. I propose an IQ test for voters to prevent the terminally brain dead like "Petro" from committing acts of ignorance like voting for people based on their skin color instead of their credentials. "Petro", from all your past comments all I can say is you have elevated ignorance to an art form.

....in my opinion......the LAZY A**E* that voted for Obama (PORCHSITTERS) aren't going to "serve" anybody except themselves. They want to BE SERVED.....not to SERVE.

Baloney, Bush is the definition of Conservatism. He ran on it , you all supported him and now you don't want to own it. Atleast I can admit Obama is not the change we thought, but don't give me that conservatism bullshi/t . What happened to all the Surplus the King left you guys with.

I never said it meant nothing. Fannie Mae, and to a lesser extent Freddie Mac, both quasi government entities, backed up minority based housing loans for the banks. The banks sold these loans as parts of investment packages.

It's pretty simple, really: The government leans on banks to make loans to those that ordinarily don't qualify for housing loans, and have to then come to the rescue when the banks are not paid back by people that don't have the discipline to save money for an economic downturn after the housing market adjusts.

Why the personal insult about my idiocy? It seems you might need to educate yourself a bit more on how economics and government meddling affects the taxpayer.

Bush is hardly a definition of conservatism. He did great on lowering taxes on the poor and middle class, lowering the taxes on the wealthy to a lesser degree. He did great on national security. He did horrible on being too liberal with spending, immigration, education, and saying no to the dimocrats.
