Pennsylvania, four other states seek $300 million to improve rail lines

as if the Goverment hasn't given enough to Norfolk Souther and the rest of the rails. Let's be rediculous and piss more tax payer money away on a free ride for them too.
Let Norfolk with their millions pay for their own upgrades !!

It is time to get the truck off the highways, especially when they drive at speeds the same as auto traffic and anyone with half a brain knows you can't stop a truck as fast as a car. They travel in a sort of convoy & pass cars like they are standing still. I realize we need trucks but, for long distance hauling, which is what we are talking about. Rail will save money,fuel,the highways and the lives that truck accidents damage.
It's not about money it's about getting our heads out of our butts & realizing we have let this situation get out of hand. You have to spend money so that in the long run you can save it!!!

Didn't these states just get billions in stimulus money?
