Sussex County drenched by early October storm

Fredon and Andover led all reporting stations in New Jersey with the most rain received Tuesday as a strong line of thunderstorms crossed the area, brightening the night skies with lightning but causing few power outages. And, according to the National Weather Service forecast office in Mount Holly, there were no reports of tornadic winds even though the area was placed under a tornado warning for part of the evening.
