Whether it be the war in Iraq, the housing crash, or the economy, I don't beleive either party wants to be in the White House. As Clinton and Obama tear either other apart, the Republicans nominate a candidate more hated by Republicans than by Democrats. McCain, the likely winner, is portrayed by the news media as an independent, closer to the democrats than to his own party. Maybe they all decided they don't want be a part of the sexually scandalous group we call elected officials.
