Little Miami School Levy Fails

As an LM alum, this repulses me. To think that the school that gave me the great education that I needed to get where I am right now is being denied funding from self-righteous idiots makes me want to cry. What you people [who voted against it] need to realize is that until there is a better way to fund the schools, this is all we have. If you care about your children at all you would have passed this levy no matter what. You people [who voted against it] make me sick.

m johnson do you live in the little miami school district . if not shut your big mouth . we the home owner are paying the price . there are no leaders in are school anymore just spenders . the state will come in now and fix the big wigs spending and its about time . this levey would have passed but when they threaten use with bus service an removed that service that was the straw that broke the camels back. i my self have changed over 800 voters from a yes to a now for never. an getting more . so your the only idiot on this site .

I am all for the State of Ohio taking over Little Miami Schools, god knows they could not do worse than the current school administration. The people (voters) have spoken but like the play ground bullies who will do anything to get their way the School Board keeps on taking things away, making threats, cramming more and more higher levies down our throats and being that play ground bully who are willing do anything to get what they want regardless of what 'We The People' say.

I use the phrase 'We the People' because that is how it is supposed to be, we vote and the majority wins. I guess that is something lost in this country,'We the People' seem to have no say! School Boards don't listen, Judges don't listen..... It has become a very selfish society for those who have power and money in that it is OK to ignore the will of the people and push their own selfish agendas. Seriously a 16.9 mil levy can not be any more selfish.

It is time that we the voters vote these people out. I think and I am not alone believe we need an all new administration and a new prospective on how to fix Little Miami Schools. I have tried talking to them; it is in one ear and out the other, they really do want our input al they want is for us to shut up and give them what they want regardless of the effect on us. I strongly believe we are at a where Mr. Bennett and Mr. Bevans should resign and find a new place (one not effected by today's economic conditions) to work, seems they too are more than we can afford.

Seriously, I love were I live, I love my house and the friends I have made here but this group of people are really making me question if I should stay and I think that is sad. I should not have to leave my house, my property and my friends. They are the failures, we keep telling them that at election time; maybe it is time for them to leave.

As for M Johnson from Galloway, please feel free to come down to this School District and write them a check for all they did for you; no doubt they will take it!

As for the value of your house going down just like everyone else in the country, it has nothing to do with LM voters; maybe you need to start paying attention to what is going on outside Warren County.

I thought the state would take over if the levy fail last week? Funny, seems to be another lie from the LM School Board since they have not done so.
Now the crazies what 16.9 mils; where is it they think we will get the money?
