Is going to an MLB game too expensive?

Full story: www.examiner.com

A new poll conducted by AP/Knowledge Networks has listed the top problems with Major League Baseball according to its fans. The Poll was conducted from June 26th to July 5th of this year and asked 655 adult fans who said they had an interest in the MLB. By a wide margin the number one problem these fans identified was the steep cost of attending MLB games. 63% of fans answered the cost of attending MLB games is far too high, and that is the number one problem with the MLB. In 2008 the same poll was given and then 45% of those surveyed gave the same response.

The economy being what it is has Major League Baseball very concerned with lagging attendance in most cities.
Fans are looking at how far they can stretch the sports dollar and with football here soon, tough decisions are being made.
Football will see the same thing when the end of the year holidays roll around.

It was too expensive last year, and the year before that. MLB has just about priced itself out of the po' folks market. You know...their fans!

It wouldn't be so bad if the owners would stop paying these silly azz salaries to underachieving athletes.
Low payroll=low ticket prices.

F-MLB.
Stop OVERpaying UNDERachievers.
Crack down on people who slap the game (and its integrity) in the face by cheating, doping, etc...Bud Selig is a f'ing joke.
I can't watch a sport where somebody making so much money, would sit out with a jammed pinkey finger- LMFAO.
Overpaid cowards.

This era of baseball is shameful.

Daily Horoscope for November 21

Capricorn

Some of you may wonder where your money's going as the Moon meets Neptune in your second house of personal finances; your money seems to be spent as fast as you can make it. Before you go blaming everyone else, do a prosperity dance. Get all the junk you don't use any more out of your house and donate it to charity, then dance naked under the stars. You'll soon find you have all the money you need.
