Why don't they follow up their book with one about over-educated, privileged and entitlted women with no real life experience outside the halls of academia, sororities and upscale food markets writing fatuous, painfully obvious non-fiction, and the Marin County debt zombies that buy them?

HaHaHa -- needy shrinks looking for a new revenue stream in a bad economy; hoping for royalties from psycho babble book sales.

The first 3 postings are by morons who are insecure, jealous, and obviously bitter people.

Any book that explores the complex world of human behavior and psychology is a good book.

If you're not interested in the book, you don't buy the book. Simple. Move on.

Do whatever you want to do with your life. Do you have something else to do with your life besides trash any academia efforts????

I'm not rich, live in Sonoma County, am a working artist on a budget.

I'm not going to read any further posts, so any of your bitter efforts to trash me will go unseen.

1. It's called human nature--the "needy" person, especially female is always attractive. Have you ever seen an attractive female homeless person?

2. More Psychobabble from wannbe Psychiatrists--not that psychiatrists are any
better.

3. In reality, are these women "needy"? Ask their wealthy husbands.

Yes, life is complex. By your realization-- your
way ahead of the game. I have a "knee jerk" reaction to people like these authors. I have
honestly found all people are different, and books like this belong under "rich table twaddle".
I'd rather read about your life--honestly.

"Exotically Unstable..." - boy, that aptly describes my ex-wife! She could not take joy in anyone else's victories for that would mean that the spotlight might waiver from focusing on her. Kind of person who, 20 minutes after being admitted through the Pearly Gates would complain, "Hey, it's kinda bright up here - can we do something about the lighting?" Sexual athlete, yet true intimacy is unknown to her. Any sense of contentment was absent, ever. I was Number 2, her last two husbands didn't survive the relationship and with mondo Cougar instincts, she's burning up the internet dating sites looking to land husband #5. When she meets males with equally predatory motives and can't transition the sexual relationship into a traditional courtship headed towards marriage - she calls me to tearfully bemoan her inability to find "a decent guy." Sadly, anyone who might so qualify would immediately be the seen as the source of her ongoing "problems". I realized early in life that there was no such thing as everlasting satisfaction but she has demonstrated, repeatedly, that everlasting dissatisfaction DOES exist.

sounds like the disease of liberalism
difficult to cure
unless maybe if they are the victum of a crime
best to keep them away from any positions of broad authority or responsibility so they dont cause any damage to others

I am neither bitter, jealous nor insecure. I am, however, a better writer than you, able to expose the bilious shmata that the entitled pass off as a deeper understanding of human pair bonding.

Maybe you should stick to peddling your skill-free pastels of fluourescent cats to an unsuspecting suburbia and leave the real incite to professionals.

Dr. Sach', ye of the "better writer than you" school of anonymous, pontificating criticism...check out the word "insight" before inciting those offering positive comments with your ERRONEOUS syntax. Clown.

INCITE–verb (used with object),-cit⋅ed,-cit ⋅ing. to stir, encourage, or urge on; stimulate or prompt to action: to incite a crowd to riot.

Heavens! Looks like I used a verb as a noun as an expression to yank people out of their complacency about this tripe...what will people think?

Congrats, Albert Einsteen. You just managed simultaneously to showcase your imbicilic mouthbreathing while diminishing the gravity of this thread.

Now go to the corner and smell your fingers like a good little monkey.

In my day it was called be a "GOOD CHRISTIAN" too bad now if you follow Gods will for others you are considered to have a sickness. IMO the people that think we are sick are the ones with the sickness! God have mercy on your souls!

Clever and funny, love the irony with just a touch of sarcasm.
What are your insights into MG Myasthenia Gravis patients?
Do some have high IQ or is it more likely for them to be retarded in some way? I know there are eight MG types at least I think I do. Please correct me.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Scorpio

If you're feeling brave enough, you should get out all your receipts`, and then tot up how much you've spent this month. Or don't you have the courage to do so? It will be far better to know the truth than to pretend that everything's all right. But don't let it spoil what promises to be a delightfully enjoyable and rather emotional day.
