Also, all Russians can see translated Europeen knews everyday at TV. I have been in Moscow recently, you gyus are brainwashed here. “Every year there are fewer and fewer Russian,” Medvedev wrote.“Alcoholism, smoking, traffic accidents, the lack of availability of many medical technologies, and environmental problems take millions of lives. And the emerging rise in births has not compensated for our declining population.” “To sum up,” Medvedev wrote,“an inefficient economy, semi-Soviet social sphere, fragile democracy, negative demographic trends, and unstable Caucasus represent very big problems, even for a country such as Russia.” This is from RTV. Russian leaders are very critical of Russia itself. That how you make changes. You face problems head on. I engage in this site and I believe I am not brainwashed. America, on the other hand, does not seriously adrres problems. We look for short term solutions. We were great for a long time. Now weare living only on momentum. Our problem is exactly what Russia's was - a massive dependence on government. Our government is self serving. 51% of our voters are now on government welfare, therefore our leaders will continually use the government to reward lazy, irresponsible behavior. Sound familiar?

Why should the Russians be considered any different than the rest of Europe and the USA? And that would indicate conditions are normal and productive. And it's just another positive example for more backward and subjugated peoples of the world to consider.

Be advised that the USA, Russia, Britain, France and Germany are allies.

Be advised that the USA, Russia, Britain, France and Germany are allies. This is an excellent point that often gets over looked in this insane, but rather amusing forum. The fact is Russia and the US work together on more foreign policy issues than anyone on this forum seems to want to admit. That doesn't mean that there isn't enormous anti American sentiment in Russia. But the fact is their government is pragmatic and they work with the US all the time. As for America, most Americans neither like nor dislike Russia. Most simply don't know anything about modern Russia. But our government usually cooperates with the Russians. I actually wouldn't go as far as to say that we are allies. But we are not enemies much to the dismay of many folks on both sides in this forum.

Government of Russia and USA R friendly, but russians know very well what U have done to them when U put UR candidate Gorbachov as president of Soviet Union. They cant forgive U and forget u (they dont want) all hell that u gave them 1990-2000. Putin changed all that, 4 that reason U want him out of office. Russia will win and will take its revenge!

In short, we like the way Russia does it. And we too are conservative and watching, just as we hope the Russians will continue to do. And although Russia and America have had differences, we have never warred with each other, perhaps because we need each other when the world gets out of control. And I can only speak of our past histories.

I'm sorry but you're wrong. It isn't so simple. The US accepts the fact that Russia will not do whatever we want the them to do. The US and Russia share many foreign policy goals and we will continue to work together. It isn't about revenge. It's about mutual interests and we have too many for anyone to want to make trouble. You may not like these facts but they are facts just the same. The US and Russian governments are still very friendly despite the show they put on for their respective voters.

In the US our unions are so strong that they put themselves out of business, like GM, the world's largest auto manufacture, which filed for bankruptcy this year and was bailed out by the tax payer.

Serbs R very close to Russians, they suffered same at the same time, our mentality is same, roots, and there is a lot of our common history that we share. I know how Russians feel about U, guys. Just pay attention the way western medias talk about russian history. They talk about Rasputin, Stalin and when they mention Ivan the Great Terrible they dont mention that he won many battles against russian enemies Mongols, that he made many reforms in economy, administration, military and he made Russia czardom. Films about Rambo etc. Maybe know U R friends but they have rembered their humiliations, sufferings that were caused by U. I really know Russians, trust me!
