Lutheran Bible Translators in Aurora, Ill., is launching in May a yearlong celebration of its 50th anniversary on May 19. Since that date in 1964, when the LCMS Recognized Service Organization was incorporated, LBT has completed translations of more than 30 New Testaments and other parts of Scripture for some 7 million people worldwide.
