Jackson Aide Quit Over NoI Influence

Full story: www.pr-inside.com

MICHAEL JACKSON was used as a "front" for the Nation of Islam after the religious group targeted him as he was reeling from child abuse allegations, according to a former aide. The Thriller legend fell in with the Muslim organisation when some of its members began working for his security team. Jackson's former publicist Stuart Backerman insists the group slowly began to take control of the singer's legal and business affairs - and "infiltrated" his world after he was hit with child molestation claims in 2003 ...

Re Backerman:

"He tells U.K. tabloid The Sun,'I quit because the Nation of Islam has infiltrated Michael's world. I was the only one who was left standing at that point because Michael wasn't in his right mind ...'"

Somewhat reminiscent of the way Howard Highes used Mormons for his internal security, but you can't hire someone to protect you from yourself, and their continued presence can actually prevent anyone else trying to help you.

"In that period of weakness he allowed the Nation of Islam to come in under the guise of acting as security first, to taking control of his business operations and have an advisory role on legal matters. Basically they just took over control ..."

I'm sure this didn't happen overnight.

The Nation of Islam can take responsibility for alot of MJ's problems. Bet they played in that money of his when he had some. Shows how much they give a damn about their own!

So what? It makes no difference to anyone. He is gone and nothing you say will hurt him ever again. Just leave him alone.

How is placing blame for some of Michael's problems on those who may have abused and taken advantage of him, harming Michael?

That logic fails me.

I bet you wouldn't be saying "It makes no difference" if it were a bunch of Christians negligently handling Michael's financial matters.

His financial affairs are over for him. Picking over his bones is quite distasteful. He made some choices in his life and sometimes things did not go how he intended. Whatever it is it is between him and his maker.

Abu doesnt give a damn about Micheal. Hes faking concern for Micheal in a thinly veiled attempt to stop the discussion of how "The nation of islam" robbed Micheal.

Many of MJ's fans still want to know how and why one of the greatest child stars of our time, who had hit after hit, somehow descended into a downward spiral of musical mediocrity and bizzare behavior.

I wonder if Calypso Louie ever visited Neverland to enjoy Jesus Juise and Jizz?

This is also made up. Like I care about any of this. He is barely in the ground and the US obsession with him and his death continues. Rest in peace Michael. From Him we come and to Him we return.

He was ill. I did not know he had lupus. I would have preferred not to know and remember him as he was. What difference does it make to anyone to know about the details of his life and how things went wrong for him? None at all.
