House of Bishops consents to deposition of John-David Schofield, William Cox
The House of Bishops voted March 12 to consent to the deposition from the ordained ministry of the Rt. Rev. John-David Schofield, bishop of the Diocese of San Joaquin, and the Rt. Rev. William Jackson Cox, bishop suffragan of the Diocese of Maryland, resigned.

As you likely already know, that particular report has turned out not to be valid. The Chancellor to the House of Bishops (the canon) has ruled that the vote was valid. What's more, the Presiding Bisop had little to do with the vote other than being the executive officer and being one vote in that house. The action was exclusively the right and prerogative of the House of Bishops. |

I think you need to read a little more concerning this issue other than the statement from the inquisitor of Schoria Law. There are many on your side of the arguement who see this vote as invalid.
In fact, this vote may come back to bite TEC in any future property disputes. |
