The Significance of Baha'i Marriage

There may never be an institution as old as the institution of marriage. The history of mankind is synonymous with the unity of man and woman.

Sorry to say, marriage is not a serious matter in Bahaisim. I'll give you an example, in Rancho Cugomago Bahai communtiy 85% of members are on their second or third amrriages. My ex husband would come from his Bahai meetings, talk about younger wives of the community. The worst part is if one wants to leave the community.

secretly watches, reports on and records the activities and views
of members it sees as a threat. In such circumstances,'counselling' will comprise any communication
that member has had with the institutions, whatever its nature, purpose
and timing. This action will be accompanied by a backbiting campaign
designed to destroy the member's reputation in the community.
Gossiping is high among Irania Bahai in the community. I went through hell and paid a very high price just to cut off my association with that community. Now all my non Bahai friend and family say you don't your blessing.

My dearest friend and well beloved of God. It sounded like you experienced many injustices, and I can understand your frustration. I was telling a friend last night, that if we ever look at people to represent religion..no one will want to join religion. So in the bahai community , we shouldnt look at the flaws of the bahais in the community to see what it represents, but to the Writings of Baha'u'llah..Cuz thats pure in its form.. the people become Bahais because they want to be better and get closer to God..but they are still human.and an imperfect eye will behold imperfection, and we are encouraged to develop a perfect eye.. rememebr you are only accountable to God.no one else..so what you do or dont do,,its between you and God..so be hapy and try to always do the right thing and it will always shine throughout injustice..and thats being a bahai.. please continue to be a beautiful bahai..
