Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta announced today that it has awarded more than $3.8 million to assist in the funding of ten affordable housing initiatives in North Carolina as part of its 2015 Affordable Housing Program . The awarded initiatives, which are located in Asheville, Durham, Eden, Elkin, Greensboro, Lincolnton, Marion, Pittsboro, Wilmington, and Winston-Salem, support the rehabilitation and construction of housing for low- to low-income families, veterans, and homeless, or formerly homeless individuals.
