Summit County Council's Committee-of-the-Whole April 4 voted in support of two pieces of legislation to back the nonprofit Austen BioInnovation Institute and provide a $177,000 grant and defer loan payments of $87,000 annually until 2021. Council has annually provided the institute with a $75,000 grant, said county Finance Director Brian Nelsen. Comment?
