Home sale prices in Connecticut eked out the first gain in a year in April, a new report Tuesday shows, the first year-over-year gain following 12 consecutive months of price declines. Statewide, the median sale price of a single-family house - where half the sales are above, half below - rose just under 1 percent in April, to $240,000, compared with $238,200, according to the report from The Warren Group, which tracks real estate trends in New England and publishes The Commercial Record.
