Even with the uncertainty over the North American Free Trade Agreement between the United States, Mexico and Canada, the percentage of jobs in New Mexico supported by the export of goods is growing faster than other states. As of 2016, New Mexico had almost 15,000 jobs directly traced to exports, a 1.7 percent increase from the end of 2015, according to the U.S. Department of Commerce. Comment?
