The Keep Your Home California program created in 2010 to help struggling homeowners has delivered more than $24 million to Fresno County in its first five years. In turn, the state-run and federally-funded program has helped the county preserve $56 million in economic activity for the area such as labor income and tax revenue that would have otherwise been lost, according to a report released Wednesday. Renting might be a little cheaper than buying a home in Fresno County this year, according to a rental affordability report released Thursday. The 2017 estimated monthly rental payment on a three-bedroom home in Fresno is $1,346, up from $1,296 last year, according to Attom Data Solutions , the new parent company of RealtyTrac. Comment?

Fresno County home sales and price stumbled in July as housing affordability continued to erode making it harder for buyers to afford a home.
