The Alabama Statewide Housing Affordability Index for the fourth quarter of 2013 was computed at 203.3. This quarter's HAI decreased by 1.67 percent compared to last quarter's index of 206.8. Despite the slip, the HAI remains high compared to historical figures associated with the index. Comment?
