I am a believer in dreams, and when I had a waking dream a few days after the S&P downgrade of our national debt of President Obama packing his bags and leaving the White House, I was saddened for him and for my country. But the great thing about dreams, if they are truly predictive, is that they give you time to change the future, and I'm going to try doing that with this advice. Comment?

Take this guy: His wife works at McDonald's, pulling down $180 a week on $7.50 an hour, and he makes a solid $15 an hour and brings home $600 a week before taxes. That $2,960 is enough to let them borrow plenty - on a home mortgage, on an F-150, a boat trailer and a snappy-looking outboard, for a family vacation with her parents, for athletic gear and special training for the older two kids. Real estate like-kind exchanges are an important vehicle for disposing of and acquiring properties and support the nation's financial growth, job creation and economy, according to a new report from the National Association of Realtor. The Like-Kind Exchanges: Real Estate Market Perspectives 2015 survey of NAR's commercial and residential members found that real estate investors and commercial property owners place a very high priority on current like-kind exchange tax rules: Forty percent indicated that transactions would not have occurred in the absence of the tax provision, and 56 percent said even if the project would have occurred, it likely would have been smaller in scale.
