Home sales in Connecticut registered strong year-over-year gains in February, accompanied by a upswing in prices that bodes well for the spring home-buying market, a new report Wednesday shows. The median sale price of a single-family house - the price at which half the sales are above, half below - rose 2.7%, to $231,000, in February from $225,000 a year earlier, according to the report from the Connecticut Realtors, a statewide trade association.
