Washington's program that allows parents to pay in advance for college tuition credits is on hold for the next two years, thrown into turmoil by the dropping cost of college. The Guaranteed Education Tuition Program, or GET, allows families to buy credits years before their kids are ready for college, locking them in at current rates. Comment?

Each year, the National Low Income Housing Coalition crunches the numbers to determine how much it costs to afford housing in every county in the United States, based on data from the U.S. Department of Urban Development.
