The Seminole City Council unanimously voted for Ann Toney-Deal to replace longtime City Manager Frank Edmunds at a special June 30 meeting. Edmunds, who has held the position for 20 years, is set to retire Aug. 15. The next step is for a representative of the council to enter into contract negotiations with Toney-Deal. Comment?

Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta announced today that it has awarded more than $2.6 million to assist in the funding of nine affordable housing initiatives in Florida as part of its 2015 Affordable Housing Program .
