County assessors across Oregon started dropping property tax bills in the mail this week, and some homeowners may be in for a case of sticker shock. If you are buying a home, how important is it to know that its foundation is strong, stable and capable of carrying the weight of your house? For a typical residence, the concrete in the foundation is designed at least five times stronger than is required.
