MassHousing recently honored 10 of its top lending partners as well as four nonprofits and two individual loan officers for their support in delivering MassHousing home mortgage loans in 2014. "We recognize these lenders and community partners in particular for their extraordinary commitment to helping people with modest incomes to access the mortgage market," MassHousing Executive Director Thomas R. One of the leading real estate agents in the state just released its "Top 25 Hottest" list, and Dedham came in at 22. Lowell grabbed number one, with 955 home sales for 2014. Some repeats on the list include Westborough, Yarmouth and Hudson. Comment?

There's been a lot of talk of late that there are glimmers of hope in the American economy. Since President Obama's economic stimulus package was enacted and the Federal Reserve and the Treasury Department both announced plans to buy up distressed assets and backstop mortgage-backed securities, the financial markets seemed to have steadied themselves.
