California Regional MLS, which services more than 73,000 real estate professionals, and the Ventura County Regional Data Share, which has about 4,500 subscribers, have signed an agreement to import listing data directly from each other's systems. VCRDS is the latest MLS to participate in an initiative CRMLS launched last year to ink data-share deals directly with MLSs throughout California with the goal of building a statewide MLS in mind. Orange County's housing market saw home price gains fall to the smallest level in just over two years, CoreLogic DataQuick reported Monday. The reduction in Federal Housing Administration loan limits back in January was "ill-timed" and diminished the pool of potential 2014 homebuyers, according to analysts at Sterne Agee. "We believe last year's cuts were ill-timed because purchases of single-family loans to rent had sharply increased local housing prices, and the loss of FHA financing for certain buyers probably delayed or extinguished their willingness to buy a home," analysts Jay McCanless and Annie Worthman said in a Nov. 25 report.
