Throughout 2015, Oklahoma remained a seller's market due to the low inventory of houses on the market and a large amount of buyers, and the Oklahoma Association of Realtors believes 2016 will look much the same. Increased demand for existing and new homes coupled with low inventory will sustain home prices through this year. Comment?

The Oklahoma State Home Builders Association honored two longtime members as the inaugural inductees into the Oklahoma Housing Hall of Fame at the organization's recent installation banquet at the Skirvin Hilton Hilton. Dale was president of of the Oklahoma State Home Builders Association in 2003 and was a two-time president of the Central Oklahoma Home Builders Association, in 1990 when the state was coming out of a housing slump, and then in 2010 when builders were emerging from the great recession.
