Former subprime mortgage lender David B. Silipigno is accepting bids on a gated eight-acre estate he built on the eastern outskirts of the city in 2007. Silipigno will try to sell his 20,841-square-foot mansion, located at 36 Stony Brook Drive in Meadowbrook Estates, at an on-site auction set for 6 p.m. March 19. He recently rescheduled the auction and lowered the reserve price - the minimum price Silipigno must accept - to $3.99 million after a buyer from Florida dropped out of a deal to purchase it.
