I'm ashamed that I voted for Christie. I vaccinate my children and I think its unfair that people are seeking a philosophical exemption. Its irresponsible and unfair. What will the anti-vaxers say when we have a full blown outbreak of measles in NJ - oops and will they then run out and get their children vaxed? This urban legend that it causes autism is getting old if you ask me. Its a sad fact that children have autism and its hard for the parents - I understand and I can't even imagine the devistation it must cause to a family but to blame vaccinations even after the extensive scientific resarch is hunting for unicorns. Focus on the fact that your child has autism and seek help to cope and help for the child rather than searching for someone or something to blame. I hope Chris Christie was looking for votes when he was considering anything about passing a Bill to allow philosophical reasons not to vaccinate in NJ.
