Billy Graham's Daughter Moved By Death Row Visit

I wonder why no one is moved by speaking with the victims' families - Oh, Yes, that would be because these folks don't visit us. I myself am moved to stinging tears when I think of those murdered, of my baby girl murdered. What is so attractive about murderers - they seem to garner so much interest. How seduced must they be by their own self righteousness when they extend "compassion" to killers. How many prison ministeries are there? Many. How many churches serve victims. I know of none. Life is strange.

Ms. Ann not a day goes by that you and you're entire family along with Ms. Margaret, Sheree and all the families to many to remember devestated by this low life scum of the earth burden on society preditor that all of you are not in my thoughts and prayers. Personally the news that one of the respected Graham family has made mission of a display of affection or compassion towards these murdering monsters is apalling. I'm completely stunned and reduced to uncontrolable tears. I've gone into prayer without stopping. My precious beloved baby son who had just turned 16 years old days before an almost 16 year old neighbor now prisoner #536827 took our Matthew from his bedroom. The Whittington family believes at gun point in the middle of the night shooting our precious Matthew 9 times with 2 guns. connor wood confessed to shooting to death his biological mother and father earlier. Then confessed shooting to death our beloved Matthew. Then trying to convince our law enforcement that an intruder had shot his parents. connor wood confessed to shooting his parents and then taking Matthew and shooting him. We live with the fact that Matthew was taken from his bedroom by a childhood neighbor at gun point, then Matthew seeing good people he'd known all his life shot all to peices and having a childhood neighbor he'd known his whole life shooting him over & over as Matthew desperately tried to run for his life with a broken knee finally falling to that floor where my precious son that I love with all my heart, soul and would have laid down my life for. Our forever precious cherished Matthew died on that floor drowding in his blood! It's been 953 days as of today. We still can not get our minds to accept that which is beyond comprehension. The TERROR, the HORROR that our precious son endured on March 14, 2007 we will never recover. We've been contacted by one journalist wanting information for a documentary. The journalist wanted information on prisoner #536827! God Bless you Ms. Ann and all others who've had their child violently brutally unjustly treated and please pray for my husbad Dennis & myself Judy. No alchohol or drugs involved in this ??????????

I could not have put it any better then either of you two ladies did. While I did not lose a child, a very close family member was brutally taken away in the blink of an eye just a month after turning 16. And for 18 months, my family fell apart at the seems trying to find him, for at the time he was only missing. When he was found, he was nothing more then skeletal remains in a 20-foot cavity underneath I-10 in St. Charles parish. How his mother, how anybody who loses a child, has the strength to get out of bed every morning after living the worst pain possible is beyond what I can fathom. I know the pain I have felt over losing him, and I was merely a child who lost a cousin. I discovered today an article about the Angola Prison rodeo that featured my cousin's killer. He spoke of how he had an incredible day and that he lives rodeo to rodeo. How is it fair that he gets to speak of his life when he took a child's? Not one article has been featured about his victim since the trial was over.

You are all in my thoughts and prayers. For your losses, I am eternally sorry. My upmost admiration for you ladies, however. I can only hope to have as much strength as you ladies posess.

Man's justice is being served out by those prisoners. We are all condemned to death and eternal damnation but when we ask God's forgivenss, He gives it freely.
I cannot imagine the pain and anger of loosing a loved one at the hands of another. Forgiveness does not wipe away the pain or act as if nothing happened. It does not mean you have to be a friend or like the person. Forgiveness is a gift you give yourself. It releases you from the anger and bitterness.
Victims are deeply wounded. But there is freedom for all of us in the person and work of Jesus Christ.
