WWII Memorial worth the wait for veteran

That's the word Naperville resident Gene Sullivan used to describe the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C. Gene called me Thursday to thank The Sun for the article last week that featured him as he waited to take an Honor Flight to D.C., along with two other WWII veterans who recently took the one-day trip.

Congratulations! My father,George F.Greene is a WW11 Veteran as well.He is 89 years young and will hopefully be able to go see the Memorial as well.Thank you Mr.Gene Sullivan,I salute you!!!
